Screeninig of the movie- Children Of God

Street kid taking a picture

Firstly I got an invitation for party for fundraising for second tea party for street children. It was Maharjan Juju who has been working with street kids from a long time. Actually I wanted to help him; I knew he was doing a great work. So I decided to participate in the fund raising program but it costs Rs. 350 for the party, being the student it was hard for me to effort. So I decided to have suggestion from my friends who were also interested to help the team, but the money was the main matter. So we decided, we will collect Rs 100 from each of us, and participate in the program but not eat and drink anything. Soon I got to know that, while we enter the party, if we did not eat also they have to pay minimum costs. So we couldn’t help the team. I was feeling bad because I was not able to help him.

Finally we got an idea, if we show the movie of Street children among the college students, then we will have lots of participants, as per their wish they can contribute us, like we planned a student one day expenses for the street kid food. So we few of friends decided to talk to college management (Kathmandu Engineering College) for their help for the program. The college management shows a great enthusiastic for the program.

Helping Hand an organization of students which has been working for social welfare, was ready for the help. {Helping Hand Members, Heart Beat members}We were ready for the screening the movie of Children of God, and our few plans got changed. We decided to escape the part of fund issues; rather we focus for interaction program where we can create a bridge for building a relationship for Street kids and students. We finally decided to do a program for three day, two days for college students and one day for the youths, teachers and interested candidates from different arena.

Street kid Sharing Street Experience
Heart Beat is a Non Government Organization working for youth related problems, women prisoners, Street kids, improving the life of the kids at the prison, creating a platform for interaction with rural and urban youths. From past few months, it is running a campaign for supporting street kids, Tea for Free, every Tuesday early in the morning. It has supported to the children who wants to uplift their life from street and live a respectful manner. It performs different experiments and respects their feelings. For example, few children were interested at photography, they taught photography to them, and they are now good street photographers, but still they are at street, they love their street life, street freedom. The best part is addiction, as they are addicted to glue they can get addicted to music in similar way, Music and dance may be a greater part of addiction for them to make them free from addiction of Glue. It is really hard to bring them to social life, but it takes time. They are developing the brotherhood relationship with them.

Our objective of program was to show the reality of Street life, share the experience of Street kids from their own mouth, interact with youths regarding street issues, and share the experience of the team members who has been working with street kids. We want to build a bridge for building a relationship between street kids and people. We have heard and listen a lot about street kids, but we are not interacting with them. They are wild, and it is difficult to interact with them. We want to create a platform for interacting with these street kids. They need love; care and we want to help them.

We were success at our motive. Around 300 people participated in the program, raised the street problem, discuss about their roles for helping street kids. We were success to change the negative concepts of the street children.

artificial intelligence........a short talk

artificial intelligence.............lets talk about it.............

What’s the difference between pc and human beings? Human beings can think? People can think, yes! I agree with it people can think. Can you elaborate me, how people can think? Thinking is a process of analyzing? Analyzing different things and selecting the best in the situation is the thinking phenomenon. Let me further think, thinking is a program. A mind, is responsible for thinking? Is there anything as mind? Let me go in detail, cells and neurons are responsible for thinking. Human brain is the best social animal, it lives in organized manner.

How to define thinking in the sense of intelligence? Intelligence thinking is the process achieved my analyzing the thoughts. If I stored the data in my pc then regulate it to perform like a program analyzing what is right and wrong, if it does a correct program, and then is it capable of thinking?
Let’s deal with example, one of my friends being online and chatting with me, I am able to answer to his responses. If the software designed capable to chat with him as like me, does my friend can identify he was chatting with a person or program? Can we say it artificial intelligence.
Software capable of analyzing data, performing act as per analyzing then sure it can be artificial intelligence. Suppose in my front door there is a robot, which can view to 500m through the optical camera, capable of judging the people faces, and wishing them greed’s, saying about the time, temperature as per program. Sure we can make artificial intelligence.

All human beings are also the program of their brain, so why let’s make a program to analyze the things.
Brain as hardware and analyzing process as software.

It was the first day at college. All students were moving around notice board to check their class room. Around 8 sections were run in a day session. It was one of the reputed colleges in Kathmandu valley. All over the nation student gathered to Kathmandu valley for study. The tall buildings all around the college area, a basketball playground beside that there was a canteen. The small pond where there were fishes of different natures, symbolically representing different students all over the nation with different dream. It was college duty to feed fish. As students were also alike fish, teachers were there to guide them all around to make their dream successful. Around 1500 students were pushing one another to see their symbol number at notice board. It was the first day of college (batch 2008-2010).
Name: Sabin Adhikari
Fathers Name:Hari pd. Adhikari
Room no: 42, Sabin was able to see this notification on the notice board.
Looking a college staff “where is room no 42?”
“Block A”
He moved towards block A. amazing thoughts were rounding in the mind. Students were just like rats in a big ground. Everybody seems to be in a need and tidy dresses. There was a big staff room where teachers were busy discussing politics. At an entrance door of room 42, he rechecked his name and entered the class.

A teacher well-dressed enter in the class carrying a hand bag. He was wearing spectacles and a red tie was around his neck. He was first teacher who entered the class. He took out a marker from his bag and wrote

He started to have introductory classes, describing himself as one of the renounced teacher who has been engaged in the teaching field from the past 10 years.” I am here teaching from the past 3 years and each year I see new students with a new hope and new destiny in their eyes. Each student is here to struggle and shape a bright way to his future. He is here to learn discipline and we are here to show them a path of truth and help them to take right decision at right time. Here we see analyze their dream and lead a path for them to follow. We are just their friends for two years. They enjoy learning here. If you are not able to have fun while studying then be sure that you are not going achieve what you dream to achieve.
I still remember those my college days when I was fascinated towards English language. I developed a great passion to study. So I started to dream myself as an English professor. From the day, I was looking for these days. Today here I am teaching thousands students and helping them to learn a universal language. I am satisfied for this. At those days, my parents forced me to study other subjects like that of engineering and doctor. But I had interest on English literature and I listened of my heart which showed me to this way. Here today I am as I dreamed of me yesterday.”
Today I am going to ask just your name, place where you were form, your SLC grading and your dream. Students started to say their data. Doctor, pilot, aeronautics engineering, staff nurse, social worker, computer engineering ………………..likes these answers were heard… all were here from different parts of country with new hope making their path towards their destiny. The memories of my childhood................

The permissive of my life

Its Tuesday morning

Its 9 am in the morning, after an hour school bell rings, time to get ready. The Nepali songs are tuned on the old VCD player. The jacks of loud-speakers are connected giving the stereo music, making home as my small stadium. I am in love with it. It’s a part of my life, one hour of morning time with the old video cassettes player. Mom scolding was too common, due to headache of music, often she used to disconnect the supply of current towards my room. But my love for music was as it…………………… the 1974 A.D, Sugam Pokherel Highway album, and others artist………… few pirated music were available at my home, coz original cassettes costs triple money.
Sanju Adhikari and Me, Daejeeling,Museam

For neighbors it was one of the headache time of a day, for their children of my age was one of the best time as mine. I used to not listen of any-elders. Musical background, being neat and tidy for school, smell of Bajaj almond oil over the hair, sometimes coconut oil, was a part of one hour routine. Iron on the shirt and pant were compulsory to look smart. Actually, I wanted to impress people around me, my friends (esp. girls) and teachers.

My parents bought me cycle when I was a kid. I was only the son who had his own bicycle among my friends circle. My uncle used to teach me cycle. There was football and other games to play at house but I used to love ride bicycle. I was allowed to ride bicycle after my school. I didn’t used to give my bicycle to my sisters to ride, so I used to get beating of my father.   When I was around 12-15 years, I used to ride ladies cycle of my sister. I had a desire to get a new bicycle but desire remains desire till today. Father bought bicycle for sisters for going to tuition. Going with friends along the long distance in bicycle was one of the memorable events of my childhood. Riding bicycle, trying to catch the bikes moving, sometimes got wounded by small accidents. I tried to hide all those small wounds, so that parents will not scold me and beat me.

Once will ironing clothes, I was sitting on the bed and kept iron side on it. Due to the force of thigh on the clothes of bed, the hot iron kissed my thigh muscles. It took a bigger wound on my muscle. In order to hide the wound, feared of father biting, I wore pants to cover the thigh wound. The pain of wound made me realize that I was going to die soon. When parents saw it, father gave a bad look, and started to clean wound by betadine, he dint beat for it, I used to cry much on pain. I used to go school in half-pants. Girls used to laugh at my dress up. But soon it was my daily routine for a month. I was looking sexy at that get-up. Once a week, father with the help of mustache uncle used to clean my wound. Fat mustache uncle used to live five houses far from our house. He was one the businessman at Illam district. He ran to Terai, after his family was robbed by “dhakhu”. He was too strong, and was around 90 kilograms in weight. He was black in skin color with Indian ascent in his voice. He used to stay most of his times in the office of father which we called “gathi”. He was so big, I used to afraid of going in front of him. Later on, he was one of my favorite uncles. Uncle has two sons and a daughter who were elders than me but I used to call them as my friends for which I got bad words from my parents. I used to treat them as my friends and call them as friends, never respected them as brothers and sisters. Still today, I am not able to respect these friends as brothers, as they are 4-5 years elder than me. I developed a habit of saying sister to uncles daughter, when she got married few years ago. But with brothers till today I act as friends.

With a fat mustache uncle, he used to hold my hands and legs tightly and fat mustache uncle used to clean wounds. He was such a bad man while cleaning these wounds. He didn’t have sympathy over me. “mottu uncle if I was stronger than you then I will hit you so much that you will never forget me in my life”, I used to say in my hearts. The words that used to come from my mouth in pain were, “they are killing me, mothers help me, they are killing me…………..” till today I have got the marks of new skin in my thing which reminds me about the iron incident of my school age. The fat mustache uncle was kind and loving guiding me each step in my life but was too bad when he used to care wounds.

Once, sisters were planning to go picnic to near tea garden located around 3-4 kilometers away from home. Tea garden was one of the picnic-spot for children, the water that flows through the pipes used to spread over the blue sky and fall like a rain. That was one of the favorite scene to observe. I was also willing to join picnic of sisters group but my father denied. So I was crying in a loud pitch. Mother in her kind behavior tried to stop my crying. She gave me money to buy noodles and told not to join picnic. I was happy to get money. I ran to the shop, which was two houses after ours. The shopkeeper uncle was my brother, relations made by our parents. He was scolding his elder son. The elder son was in age of my sister. He was friend of my sister, also the classmate of my sister. He was also joining the picnic group. He was too angry with his father scolding, he used quarrel with them also. I used to feel guilty that I couldn’t quarrel with my father coz I used to get his belt beatings. I bought noodles and was moving my way towards home. The brother son showed his anger to the near dog laying aside him. The dog was barking towards brother, again brother showed his angry by picking up stone and hit it. The dog was also willing to show his anger. He just jumped on me and bite at my upper chest part. The dog has already bitten two others people in the society. It was given a tetanus needle around a year ago. People used to say dog was mad. After certain hours, my father started his Honda motorbike and took me to the hospital to have a tetanus vaccine. I was afraid of needle that doctor bought in hand. My father strongly held my hands and legs with the help of the doctors assistant, took off my pants, and doctor gave a vaccine at my back hips. I used to cry in pain. Father bought a fruit juice and a packet of noodles. I was again happy inside but still crying slowly in pain. It was continuous routine once in a month. Once in a month I used to get a fruit juice and a packet with noodles with the pain of vaccine. At that age I was at grade 2 or 3 studying at DJVM School. I used to see school bus passing away from the medical. After getting vaccine, father used to drop me to school on his Honda bike, which I used to dream to ride when I will grow up.

To be continued………………………….

hope for the best

I believe I can change my country situation (Economic). First of all, I want to know where my country lies (position). The people of multiple castes living in a community are deprived from their fundamental rights of food, clothes, shelter. Whenever I have watched the movies related to Somalia war, read books relating to world war, and situation of Jews during Hitler’s period, I have observe a similar situation that my country was going to face in near future if present political and economic scenario doesn’t changes. When I visited to rural areas, mostly I have seen families were dependent on the money sent by their aboard sons or daughter. A mass of youth generation leaving country. According to report, around thousands people daily left the country. So, here by I declared I will never go to earn money in foreign land. I used to see money earning s in my own country. I wanted to do business. I believe, I can do best at this field. I believe, I can be an example at this field. I just needed a time to start for it. I wanted to start it.
I have thought of completion of graduation and start on my dream carrier. I have seen lots of possibilities in the field of tourism. I want to make sure for myself I wanted to be diverse businessman. I have seen profits and best outcome in every field, from food products, clothing products to entertainment products. I am sure that I can earn better at tourism and at educational institutions but I want to make sure that I must have sufficient knowledge in it. Not only sufficient but full and should be enthusiastic in it. Nepal is a beautiful country, it has natural beauty but it just needed artificial attraction. When I visited Darjeeling, I found only artificial things making me attracted towards that area. I bet Nepal has lots of places where only few artificial beauties are required for its development.
I have dream to make it sure our country will be one of the first choice of tourist destination. I believe I can work to preserve our ancient culture and shall give a new taste to foreigners to see our cultural beauties. I want to preserve all those ancient folk dances, ancient our cultural dresses, our cultural ethics and our religion. I want to establish the finest hotels that provide the taste of Nepali dishes, culture, values and norms. Let them know they are at the best place of world. I believe I can do it.
What actually I was doing at engineering field? I was sure to make myself; I am ready for upcoming years. I believe that communication has developed so much people wants to spent their much money in entertainment sector rather than having a good meal at house. I am sure; in the near future I will never get a chance to go college and study. I should really struggle hard at this point. I must admit it. If I want to change the present communication situation of Nepal and introduce new technologies in country then I must struggle today. What you are going to be tomorrow is being determined by yours today work………… I want to make sure that each and every people must be connected to the global world. It may take years to come but I want to make sure to myself, after my completion of engineering I would work in this field. That will be the best time that I was waiting from each day today.
I wanted to see myself as a pioneer person who wants to change his country. I know today’s political situation is worse. It may be same up to five or more than five years. The economic situation of nation is being degraded day by day, I must work for it. No doubt I will work for it. I want to see my nation as one of best developed nation in the world. Our land area is too small and production and industrialization process is too low. Big industries are required to chance nation situation. I want to see a farmer who does farming in a land that is visible to his eyes. The production of 10 farmers like him can run an industry. I want to see farmers earning and leaving a high prestigious life. I want to see dignity of work in people around us.
