Thoughts............ Comparison..............Discrimination

Barack Obama is the first black American President in the white house. Abram Lincoln was the first president who initiates the laws to end slavery system. Martin King Luther Jr., fought for the human rights of black community not only to be written at constitution but also implemented to the reality life, the constitution was drafted as a bad cheque.  The world of racism discrimination is the main problem of society. Values, norms, social issues and long lasting old traditions are a part of it. Still today, there exists the classification of people as white and black, Negros and Mongolians.

Adolf Hitler bought Second World War discrimination on the Jews and Superiority of the Nazi parties.

My senior professor completed his mechanical engineering from the reputed university of India (NIIT), worked for more than 10 years at the related field. He shared his views, while he was working for a mine industry at Golf country, he was assigned a lower work at the industries, and  other fellow mates who has completed their  studies from the recognized university of USA, and has a low experience then him was assigned at senior post. That was a realization point, where he thought he was discriminated, it was so because he was east- Asian Negro in nature, and his fellow mates were from the white class.

Religion, social old traditions drives us to a narrower world. In context of Nepal, being a nation with four castes and 36 sub-castes, lots of social problems related to discrimination has been observed. Discrimination on the basis of caste, religion, ethics, and tribes has result breakage in the bonding relationship of brother hood.

Today’s world talks about the discrimination about the language we speak. More frequently, we use the words representing to the male society like brotherhood. The words we use like blind, deaf, mad, refers to discrimination and now new practices are brought and words like visually impaired, inability of hearing, mentally disordered.

Osho told, religion makes people bounded to the dogmas and they are not free to take decision, they are bounded in the community. Different communities have different values and there is conflict among them, thinking of superiority on their values, norms and resulting dispute between the different communities.

Communication System- short talk

 What After...........

Steve jobs and his friends were busy at their garage building the world first personal computer. Their garage soon became the world largest company named Apple. Bill gate and his friends were busy developing the programming language at the same time. Since windows copied the same as Mac, and the first personnel computers were introduced in the world.

Today technology has been rapidly developed. It took around 20 years for a computer to take world market, for internet around 4 years. We are globally connected towards the world through an access to the internet.  Apple products like PC, laptops, i-phone, iPod, has been able to take world best market, others largely growing companies like Samsung , Nokia, are busy with the mobile phones, tablets and gadgets stuffs.
Nepal Telecom and N-cell are competitive in the market for providing telephone services in Nepal. Other few telecommunication operators are also expanding their facilities but are too far behind with these two operators. N-cell has been able to grasp the large market at the internet services connecting people from village to village to the top of the Mount Everest. Nepal telecom was only the Nepal first telecommunication GSM provider before few years ago and occupied almost many districts of country. It was N-cell which expanded its facilities at most districts of Nepal, forcing Nepal telecom to improve its facilities, manage the access to telecommunication facilities to the all kinds of people.

Broadband Internet facilities now have been increasing in a rapid manner, easy access to internet services and low tariff call to at international market. Soon it would be spreading its range to many districts of the country along with others competitors.

Nepal has developed a lot as compared to past 15 years. Now I would like to talk about the market of after 10-15 years. Our tablet world is soon going to come.

I guess there will be less people using GSM facilities; rather they will be interconnected through high speed wireless internet through their tablets. 24-hours online, using Skype and other free internet phone software’s application people will be interconnected. Tablets having 1000 of application and the increasing social networking sites will change the way of our living. We will be totally dependent on conference calls and meeting and doing maximum of office works through phones. No need to go for shopping use your master cards to order the products. Today these facilities are being rapidly developed at the developed countries; soon we will also be able to have deal with it.

Nepal telecom and N-cell service providers will be forced to provide local phone calls free and international calls at low cost to hold the market or maybe they will be able to launch the tablets facilities with corporation with the companies like Apple, Samsung, and Nokia, providing the best communication facilities.

After 10 years, the developed countries will be totally dependent on robots. Today, scientists are busy developing artificial intelligence through the use of parallel processing. We will also have access to these robots as country higher companies will be hiring them for their own use.

just my mind was in a mood to have a talk about communication system.....its just my thinking...........hope to get beter guidance from you all people............

Happy Father’s Day Dad

Happy Father’s Day Dad………………………………………………

Life hurts us all, from loneliness, confusion, the feelings of failure, despair. Life hurts from being poor, emotionally ill, from violence in the streets or at the home. We are taught many things, but rarely how to deal with the shocks of life’s hurts. For one thing, we are not taught it is not life, but our own reactions to what happens to us that is the cause of pain. It is our fear, rooted in self-protection that causes the pain.

6 years has passed, still the moments are fresh as like the roses awake with the beautiful shine for the day. Memories are in depth in touch with hearts and brain, reminds of past. Scenario was different, people were busy giving call and congratulating, praying for better new life at new home. Dad you were a great person.
Today, on this occasion of father’s day, I want to talk about our relationship and change we observed after you passed away. 22 days we spent together in a new house, exactly 20 days, 2 days you laid at hospitals bed before living this world. I want to thank you for shifting us in a new home and guiding us in a proper manner, I still miss the sticks and belt beating that I used to get from you. It has been around 6 years I have not received such beating from others. I want to confess that, you were only the person with whom I feared much.
You were a shinning person, with hope, faith, friends of poor, you made lots of friends, and at your funeral I really realized it. I have never seen such a mass of people gathering for a funeral and lots of your friends crying in absence of your company.  You are great, 6 years passed, till the day, people has not forgotten you, when I walk my ways towards street, people will stop and ask me about my studies, about family situation and never forget to praise you and give blessing for being same as you. Till today, I have not met any person complaining and saying bad words towards your behavior. I am very much pleased to be your son.

We spent together 13 years, 6 months and 22 days together. I am thankful to God for giving me a chance to enjoy your company for these days. Now I had only moments to remember your behaviors, kindness, and habits and try to implement them to my life. You never told no when I wanted to learn things and I am thankful for such guidance so that I still miss you at my paths.

Life hurts but not long, it shows a path. After you passed away, I realized what a father love is? How psychologically we get affected without father guidance. It is human nature, they knows the values of things only when they lost it. Same happened to me, I started to cry when I felt alone, when I used to not get the things I wanted, I started missing you, because I was not allowed to ride a bike, whenever elders scolded me without reason I started to remember you. When friends talked about their parents love, I started to miss you.
I still remember you buying a video CD player by seeing my love for music, bought bicycle, sports stuffs and admitting me to the computer institute seeing my willing to learn computer and programming language.

Before you passed away, few days earlier we had a talk at office, those words are still around my minds, like those were the last lesson you wanted to give me. “Son, today people know me, if I travel around people will call me to their home; request me to stay at their home; they believe me because I have been able to do works and help them. In this world, you need to know to make friends, help them, all people even your enemies at the time of troubles. You should also work for it. Trust and believe are the thing which requires a long time to gain. Your attitude determines what you are not the money you earn “
After you passed away, a drastic change came in my life. Someday I am going to share my feelings with you. It has been six years, 6 months and 22 years since I haven’t tried to communicate with you.

Our Short Talk, Life Long Impression.

It was the first class of electronics circuit, the teacher, with a bag and a water bottle enters in the class. Looking at his watch, and placing the marker towards the board, he writes the words “conductor, insulator and semiconductor”.  He looked at the mass of students, pointing towards students starts to ask the definition of these terms. He was awesome and was able to conduct an interactive discussion class.
I was happy; I got a teacher who was a great at his field. Not only I, but many students were impressed by his teaching methods. His interactions methods, asking question to one after another students, passing the question towards other and receiving answers through group discussion. But soon my impression towards him got ruined.
After the lecture of Semi-conductor, I asked him a question that was around my mind from few weeks ago.
“How does semi-conductor contributes towards artificial intelligence?”
He saw at my faces, he was on his way to staff-room,
He answered me, “after four years you will know about it.”
Again, I insist, “Sir, would you explain a little about it?”
He looked at me like I was asking his whole life time period. The answer I got from him was shocking,
 “I don’t have time, I don’t know about it.”
This incident made me to think about the relationship of teacher and student. Moreover I remembered Albert Einstein at this very moment. Once his son asked him, “Father what your theory of relativity deals with?” his answer was too simple,” so I was able to find out a reason why is football round, while others didn’t found out so I am famous for it”

This story of Einstein makes me realize, even he was able to explain the most contradiction theory of his time to his son in simple manner, but my teacher who really denied answering the question that I raised. I was really depressed by his words.
How can I expect a better guidance from such teacher?
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
I was interested to know about the artificial intelligence and semi-conductor roles, parallel processing, but when I surf at internet and got a paper work being presented at one of reputed universities, couldn’t understand its terminologies so I wanted a teacher for guidance…………

Screeninig of the movie- Children Of God

Street kid taking a picture

Firstly I got an invitation for party for fundraising for second tea party for street children. It was Maharjan Juju who has been working with street kids from a long time. Actually I wanted to help him; I knew he was doing a great work. So I decided to participate in the fund raising program but it costs Rs. 350 for the party, being the student it was hard for me to effort. So I decided to have suggestion from my friends who were also interested to help the team, but the money was the main matter. So we decided, we will collect Rs 100 from each of us, and participate in the program but not eat and drink anything. Soon I got to know that, while we enter the party, if we did not eat also they have to pay minimum costs. So we couldn’t help the team. I was feeling bad because I was not able to help him.
Students Of KEC Watching Documentary

Finally we got an idea, if we show the movie of Street children among the college students, then we will have lots of participants, as per their wish they can contribute us, like we planned a student one day expenses for the street kid food. So we few of friends decided to talk to college management (Kathmandu Engineering College) for their help for the program. The college management shows a great enthusiastic for the program.

Helping Hand an organization of students which has been working for social welfare, was ready for the help. {Helping Hand Members, Heart Beat members}We were ready for the screening the movie of Children of God, and our few plans got changed. We decided to escape the part of fund issues; rather we focus for interaction program where we can create a bridge for building a relationship for Street kids and students. We finally decided to do a program for three day, two days for college students and one day for the youths, teachers and interested candidates from different arena.

Heart-Beat members watching Documentary
Street kid Sharing Street Experience
Heart Beat is a Non Government Organization working for youth related problems, women prisoners, Street kids, improving the life of the kids at the prison, creating a platform for interaction with rural and urban youths. From past few months, it is running a campaign for supporting street kids, Tea for Free, every Tuesday early in the morning. It has supported to the children who wants to uplift their life from street and live a respectful manner. It performs different experiments and respects their feelings. For example, few children were interested at photography, they taught photography to them, and they are now good street photographers, but still they are at street, they love their street life, street freedom. The best part is addiction, as they are addicted to glue they can get addicted to music in similar way, Music and dance may be a greater part of addiction for them to make them free from addiction of Glue. It is really hard to bring them to social life, but it takes time. They are developing the brotherhood relationship with them.

Our objective of program was to show the reality of Street life, share the experience of Street kids from their own mouth, interact with youths regarding street issues, and share the experience of the team members who has been working with street kids. We want to build a bridge for building a relationship between street kids and people. We have heard and listen a lot about street kids, but we are not interacting with them. They are wild, and it is difficult to interact with them. We want to create a platform for interacting with these street kids. They need love; care and we want to help them.

We were success at our motive. Around 300 people participated in the program, raised the street problem, discuss about their roles for helping street kids. We were success to change the negative concepts of the street children.
